Healthy development of young people through e-sports
Through active collaboration with educational institutions, the e-stadium, an e-sports facility, is helping to raise interest in ICT and the digital field among the younger generation and providing opportunities for them to consider diverse career paths. In an agreement with Osaka Municipal Shinwa Junior High School, a school promoting diverse learning, the facility has become the first e-sports facility in the country to be certified as a facility eligible for the attendance certification system for compulsory education. Going forward, the facility will continue to work to support "expanding learning options" by combining team building and digital literacy education.

Silver e-Sports Class Project
Beyond the boundaries of e-sports, e-Stadium Saga is working with local governments in Saga Prefecture to open "Silver e-sports classes" as part of comprehensive community care. Aiming to prevent seniors from becoming isolated, e-sports is used to provide hand exercises and opportunities for communication with others. In February 2025, the "TAKEO Silver Game Festa" was held in Takeo City, creating opportunities for seniors to play an active role and helping them find meaning in life.

Facing the challenge of an aging population, Semboku New Town is developing the healthcare app "Health-Smart Semboku" as part of the SENBOKU Smart City Consortium initiative. This app supports senior citizens in developing exercise habits and health management, supporting healthy living by preventing lifestyle-related diseases and encouraging behavioral change. The app offers a variety of features to address physical concerns via smartphone, allowing users to enjoy improving their health through daily activities such as measuring, walking, and participating. Furthermore, points earned through daily walking and other activities can be exchanged for digital tickets on Senboku Line and can be used at places like Izumigaoka HIROBA Shops & Restaurants.

Kita-Osaka Truck Terminal Phase II Project
Construction of the Kita-Osaka Truck Terminal Phase II building is underway, with completion scheduled for March 2026. The building will be the first logistics facility in Japan to adopt a mid-story seismic isolation structure with seismic isolation from the second floor onwards, and will have excellent disaster response capabilities, including the installation of emergency power generation equipment. A solar power generation system will also be installed on the roof, promoting the use of renewable energy. Furthermore, the installation of EV charging equipment will support the introduction of EV trucks, contributing to the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions.

Specific Initiatives
Disaster-resistant truck terminal
The Higashi-Osaka and Kita-Osaka Truck Terminals are equipped with emergency generators capable of operating for up to 72 hours in preparation for power outages in the event of a disaster. Additionally, Kita-Osaka Truck Terminal Building No. 2 and the second building currently under construction are equipped with seismic isolation structures and are designed to enable business continuity even in the event of an earthquake. As a result of these efforts, both truck terminals have been designated as "private supply bases in the event of a disaster" by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism as disaster-resistant logistics facilities.
