Environmental events along the railway line

We are involved in various local community initiatives and events along our railway lines.

Local Activities

Minami Beppin Project

Every autumn since 2013, we have been working with the Minami Machi Sodate Network to beautify the Minami area. In November 2024, a total of approximately 400 people, including 82 volunteers from our company, conducted a simultaneous cleanup. In March 2025, in preparation for the Osaka-Kansai Expo, we held the "Spring Clean in Minami" event, where 42 volunteers from our company worked on beautifying the Minami area.

By carrying out the ongoing cleaning activities that are being undertaken in each region simultaneously across the entire Minami area, we hope to change the awareness of people who use Minami and realize a "clean Minami."

Ryuokei Conservation Activities "Let's Protect Ryuokei - Creating a Bright Forest Project"

Ryuokei Gorge is located near the Nyukawa Bridge between Kudoyama Station and Koyashita Station Koya Line. The river curves sharply, creating a magnificent valley, making it one of Wakayama Prefecture's most scenic spots.

Our company participates in the conservation activity "Protect Ryuokei - Creating a Bright Forest Project" organized by the Ryuokei Forest Improvement Project Executive Committee, together with local residents and general volunteers, and twice a year we clear undergrowth around the Japanese maples that were planted in previous activities.

Gokuraku Forest Conservation Activities "Let's revive Paradise Forest!"

In order to maintain the beautiful scenery around Gokurakubashi Station Koya Line, which retains a tranquil atmosphere befitting the entrance to the World Heritage Site, Mount Koyasan, our company participates in the conservation activity "Let's revive Gokuraku Forest!" organized by the Gokurakubashi Forest Improvement Project Executive Committee, together with local residents and general volunteers. We are carrying out undergrowth cutting twice a year around the Japanese maples that were planted in Gokuraku Forest in previous activities.
