PiTaPa (IC commuter pass/Purchace Continuously)
The procedure for purchasing new PiTaPa commuter passes and purchacing continuously are the same (except for selecting the section to use and the start date of use).
(Renewal commuter passes will be issued to the same IC card.)
If you have an used magnetic commuter pass
You can continuously purchase a PiTaPa IC commuter pass using a magnetic commuter pass that is in use or has already been used. You can purchase the pass from 14 days before the start date of use.
You can purchase a new PiTaPa commuter pass using a used magnetic commuter pass.
Transferring a magnetic commuter pass that is in use to an IC commuter pass is handled at the commuter pass sales counter.
You cannot purchase a student commuter pass that spans multiple grades or the first student commuter pass in a new school year.

Follow steps 1 to 4 in the same way as when purchasing a new PiTaPa IC commuter pass.

Insert your IC commuter pass into the slot.
Limited to commuter passes issued by Nankai Electric Railway.
