PiTaPa (IC commuter pass)
PiTaPa is an IC card that allows you to board trains and buses simply by touching the ticket gate.
Procedure to join PiTaPa is required. Check below for details.
Features of PiTaPa
PiTaPa can be used in nationwide mutual use areas, including PiTaPa transportation areas and ICOCA areas.
If you use the same fare section 11 times or more on the Nankai/Semboku Rapid Railway in a month, the normal fare will be 10% off from the 11th time onwards!
Fare discount services of PiTaPa companies such as Osaka Metro are also applied!
No need to worry about losing your commuter pass - it can be reissued even if it is lost or stolen!
Even if you ride outside the IC commuter pass section, it will automatically pay for it at the ticket gate, making it eligible for the fare discount service!
