Information of surrounding facilities

Imamiyaebisu station opened in October 1907, about a month and a half after the section between Namba and Hamadera Park was electrified. In addition, the platform was relocated to an elevated track along with the construction of the elevated line between Namba and Tengachaya. “Imamiya Ebisu Shrine”, which is popularly known as “Ebessan”, is just east of the station. From January 9th (Yoi-Ebisu) to 11th (Nokori-Ebisu), the 'Toka Ebisu' is held. During the "Hoekago Gyoretsu" held on the 10th, multiple Hoekago baskets parade through the downtown area of Osaka's Minami district, making a lively pilgrimage to the shrine.
