Information of surrounding facilities

Hatsushiba station opened in March 1898 as "Nishimura Station". In 1934, Nankai Railway planned a housing business, and the land in front of Nishimura Station was decided as the management site. In order to sell the new residential area on a large scale, PR and an image change were necessary, so the station name changed into Hatsushiba. In the following year, an underpass connecting the upper and lower platforms was newly constructed, and at the same time as the residential area was put on the market, Hatsushiba Station was restarted.
