Coupon ticket
Even after the start of use, if the ticket is still valid, we will refund the balance after deducting the normal passenger fare for the number of times of use and the handling fee from the purchase amount. [Calculation example] Refund amount = sale amount - (number of times used x normal passenger fare + handling fee)
Commuter pass
If the validity period remains for one month or more after the start of use, we will refund the balance after deducting the commuter fare equivalent to the number of months that have passed (if less than one month, it will be counted as one month) and the handling fee (220 yen).
Number of months used | Refund amount |
---|---|
1 month | commuter pass fare - (1 month commuter fare + handling fee) |
2 months | commuter pass fare - (1 month commuter fare x 2 + handling fee) |
3 months | commuter pass fare - (3 month commuter fare + handling fee) |
4 months | commuter pass fare - (3 month commuter fare + 1 month commuter fare + handling fee) |
5 months | commuter pass fare - (3 month commuter fare + 1 month commuter fare x 2 + handling fee) |
Since commuter passes are contracted on a monthly basis, refunds will also be calculated on a monthly basis when they are no longer needed. For example, if you use a 3 month commuter pass for 1 month and 1 day, the number of months used will be 2 months. If it is within 7 days including the start date of the validity period, we will refund the remaining amount after deducting the amount calculated as if one round trip was made per day at the normal passenger fare for the section on the commuter pass with the handling fee.
[Calculation example]
Refund amount = commuter pass fare - (ordinary passenger fare x 2 x number of days used [within 7 days] + handling fee)
Example: Refund amount for a 1-month commuter pass between Namba and Wakayama for 3 days
28,400 JPY - (970 JPY x 2 x 3 days + 220 yen) = 22,360 JPY (refund amount)
In order to get a refund for a commuter pass, you will need to present a form of personal identification such as an official certificate.
For a refund of a commuter pass purchased with a credit card, the credit card used for payment is required.
Commuter passes issued by other companies may not be refundable.

If you lose your regular ticket
We will ask to pay the fare from your boarding station again (if you do not remember the boarding station, you will be charged the fare from the starting station). In this case, we will issue a "re-acceptance certificate". If you find your lost regular ticket within one year, bring it to the station along with a "re-acceptance certificate". We will refund the balance after deducting the handling fee. Coupon tickets and commuter passes are not handled in this way.
Information of the entrance/exit information confirmation system
Information such as entry station and entry time is recorded when a commuter pass is inserted into the ticket gate. We will check the information at the ticket gate when you get off, so please be sure to use the ticket gate when getting on and off. Please note that if you do not use the ticket gate at the boarding station, you may not be able to exit at the boarding station.
Change of boarding section
If you change the boarding section after starting boarding with an ordinary ticket or coupon ticket, you will be charged the difference in fare. Please note that no refunds will be given even if the amount is excessive.

If you want to enter the station (ex. to see off someone), you need an admission ticket. Your ticket does not allow you to enter the train. In addition, the ticket is valid only once on the same day at the station where you purchased it, and within two hours from the time you entered. (If it exceeds 2 hours, the admission fee will be added every 2 hours for the exceeded time.)

Concept of setting
Since it is difficult to cover the capital costs such as capital investment and track usage fees associated with the opening of the Airport Line with ordinary fare income alone, we have set additional fares based on the idea that customers will bear the cost.
About collection status
Cumulative | most recent year | |
---|---|---|
Capital investment (A) | 50.7 billion JPY | |
Accumulated facility usage fees, interest expenses, etc. (B) | 73.6 billion JPY | 1.7 billion JPY |
Accumulated additional fare revenue (C) | 39.6 billion JPY | 800 million JPY |
Accumulated amount collected from basic fare revenue (D) | 3.1 billion JPY | 0 billion JPY |
Recovery rate (C+D)÷(A+B)×100 | 34.4% |
As of the end of fiscal 2021, the cumulative recovery rate of additional fares and basic fares for the amount equivalent to capital costs such as facility usage fees, interest payments, etc. is 34.4%, and it is expected that it will continue to take some time to recover. Additional fares will be collected during the time. Thank you for your understanding.
