December 1909 | Nankai Railway and Naniwa Electric Railway merge (and is called the Uemachi Line) |
June 1915 | Nankai Railway and Hankai Electric Railway merge (and is called the Hankai Line and Hirano Line) |
September 1922 | Nankai Railway merges with Osaka Koya Railway and Koya Daishi Railway |
March 1925 | Main Nankai Line and Koya Line are connected at Kishinosato |
March 1925 | Koyasan Electric Railway is established |

December 1948 | Nankai Shared Automobile Company merged, starting a new automobile business |

October 1950 | Nankai Airline Tourism Company is established (merged with Nankai Transport in July 1973, changing its tradename to Nankai Travel International Co., Inc. (currently a consolidated subsidiary)) |

December 1975 | Wakayamabus Co., Ltd. (currently a consolidated subsidiary) is established (having had the bus business in the Wakayama area transferred in April 1976) |
April 1978 | Nankai Building Service Co., Ltd. (currently a consolidated subsidiary) is established |

July 1980 | Hankai Tramway Co., Ltd. (currently a consolidated subsidiary) is established (the Hirano Line abolished in November and the Hankai Line and the Uemachi Line transferred in December of the same year) |
November 1980 | Renovations for Namba Station are completed (transferring the train platform from the second floor to the third floor to organize 8 lines on 9 platforms) |

April 1991 | Kansai Airport Transportation Enterprise Co., Ltd. (currently a consolidated subsidiary) is established |
November 1992 | Nankai Rinkan Bus (currently a consolidated subsidiary) is established (having had the bus business in the Koya and Hashimoto area transferred in February 1993) |

May 2001 | Nankai Bus Co., Ltd. (currently a consolidated subsidiary) is established (having had the directly owned bus business transferred in October of the same year) |
December 2001 | Nankai Tatsumura Construction Co., Ltd. becomes a consolidated subsidiary through allotment of shares to third parties |
March 2008 | Listed on the first section of the Tokyo Stock Exchange |
February 2013 | The headquarters move to Nankai Namba Daiichi Building |
