In June 1994, Rinku-Town station opened at the same time as the opening of the airport line. Kansai International Airport opened in September of the same year. The "Rinku Gate Tower Building", which is directly connected to the station, was completed in August 1996. With 56 floors above ground and a height of 256m, it is one of the tallest buildings in western Japan. Rinku Park, an Osaka prefectural park, is about 300 meters northwest of the station. In the park, there is a wooden arch bridge and a fountain called "Shiki no Izumi", and you can enjoy seasonal flowers at the rock garden "Hanakaido" on the north side. The "Utsumi", which was established so that you can easily get close to the sea, changes its scenery according to the flow of the tide.

This is a park on the opposite bank of Kansai International Airport, Osaka's gateway to the world.
