Response to the TNFD recommendations

Information disclosure based on the TNFD recommendations

We joined the TNFD *1 Forum in June 2024 and registered as a TNFD Adopter *2 in September 2025, declaring that we would disclose information based on the TNFD recommendations.
We are pleased to announce that we have published our first TNFD Report, which is in line with the TNFD recommendations, on January 30, 2026.
This report organizes and discloses nature-related dependencies and impacts, as well as risks and opportunities, in line with the four pillars of disclosure recommendations of the TNFD (governance, strategy, risk and impact management, and metrics and targets).
We also analyzed the entire value chain for the transportation and real estate industries (including commercial facility rental businesses) using the TNFD's LEAP approach. Going forward, we will continue to enhance our disclosure based on the TNFD recommendations and aim to achieve both coexistence with nature and the enhancement of corporate value by continuing our efforts to contribute to the conservation of the global environment.

For details of the disclosure, please refer to the "TNFD Report" posted on our website.

In this report, "our company" and "our group" refer to Nankai Electric Railway Co., Ltd. and its group companies as of the end of January 2026.

Furthermore, on April 1, 2026, the Company will spin off its railway business and reorganize it into a new company, "New Nankai Electric Railway Co., Ltd.", which will be responsible for the railway business, and a business holding company, "NANKAI Co., Ltd.", which will oversee real estate businesses that contribute to urban development and future exploration.

This report was prepared based on the structure prior to the spin-off.
