Information of surrounding facilities

Ozaki station opened in November 1897 when Nankai Railway opened the section between Sano (now Izumisano) Station and Ozaki Station. The name of the place at that time, Ozaki Village, derived from "Ori no Saki“, named from the fact that it is located on the left bank of the Ori River. In December of the same year, direct operation between Namba Station and Ozaki Station began after Hankai Railway's track reconstruction work. In August 1973, it became a bridge station building.
Take a bus from the station to visit Hata Shrine, whose main shrine was built in 1638 and is designated as a national important cultural property. At the autumn festival, yagura towers from various districts of Hannan City gather, and the highlight is the grand entrance of the shrine as they run up the stairs in front of the main shrine.
