Izumisano station opened in October 1897 when Nankai Railway opened the section between Sakai and Sano (now Izumisano). In October 1965, it was remodeled into the only underground station building in our company. By the Nankai Main Line (Izumisano City) continuous flyover roadway construction, the ascending platform was elevated in May 2002, and the descending platform was elevated in November 2005. Take a bus from the station to Mt. Inunaki, whose beautiful valley has been selected as one of the top 100 green spots in Osaka. There is Shippouryu-ji Temple, also known as Inunakisan Fudoson, and Inunakisan Onsen which is the closest hot spring to Kansai International Airport.
