Information of surrounding facilities

Haruki station opened in October 1914. There used to be Haruki Racecourse on the east side of the station, but it was abolished in 1974 due to local requests. The "Chuo Park" that was built on the site is full of sports facilities such as tennis courts, swimming pools, and track stadiums. Kishiwada Velodrome, the only velodrome in Osaka Prefecture, opened in February 1950 as the 22nd velodrome in Japan. It has a mammoth stand with a capacity of about 45,000 spectators.
