When using Limited Express Southern 12000 series (Southern Premium)

Limited express trains that can be used by customers using electric wheelchairs with handles are only the Limited Express Southern 12000 series (Southern Premium) with wheelchair space.

Other limited express trains cannot be used.

Please inquire at the Nankai Telephone Center (Japanese Only) for the operation schedule of the Limited Express Southern 12000 series. However, due to unavoidable circumstances, the operating time may be changed suddenly. Thank you for your understanding.

The use is limited to handle-type electric wheelchairs with a length and height of 120 cm or less and a width of 70 cm or less, and that meet the following requirements for right-angle driving performance and 180-degree turning performance. Please ride our trains after confirming that your veichle meet the requirements.

<Right-angled road driving function> The veichle must be able to turn a 90 cm wide right angle road up to 5 times and turn a 100 cm wide right angle road without turning back.

<180 degree rotation function> Able to rotate 180 degrees with a width of less than 180 cm.

Based on the guidelines of the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism, the above requirements are used as standards, so electric wheelchairs with handles that do not meet the requirements cannot be used due to their structure.

If the steering wheel-type electric wheelchair body has a star rating sticker "Rotating performance ★★★" or a rotating performance sticker "Rotating performance ○○○", it meets the above requirements. In addition, even if these labels are not affixed, the requirements may be met, so please check with the manufacturer or agent.
